NEW LINK ROAD FOR MUMBAI

On an average, Mumbaikars spend around 118 minutes commuting every day. This amounts to 2 days on the roads every month! If the coastal road project takes off, the travel time can be cut down by half.
The proposed new coastal link road is a long-term solution to the smooth flow of traffic in Mumbai.

BJP MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha has been long championing the cause of this coastal road. The project proposed from Nariman Point to Virar and Nariman Point to Ghatkopar - will drastically reduce traffic in South Mumbai, particularly Malabar Hill, which has borne much of the congestion between Nariman Point and the suburbs.
Here’s a video highlighting the pain points, and the relief the new link road can bring to the city: http://bit.ly/1ot45Fg
