The reason of vegetables price rise is not only because of the poor government but because of the poor supply and demand management system in which government also plays an important role. The previous government had never kept a good record of how much was consumed and how much was produced how good are roads for the logistics. Rather for vote they provided the subsidy just before the election. As long as we don't have good technological improvement and good understanding of demand and supply that would take a considerable amount of time, there would be rise and fall in vegetable price.
The reason behind petrol hike is the hike in crude oil, that is due to the recent problems in Iraq, gulf countries and also the Iraq war. It is not in the hands of government.
The reason behind electricity hike is mismanagement by previous government, Kejriwal did give subsidised electricity to Delhi people, but did not say about what further steps would be taken, which was a complete proof of lack of knowledge of Economics by such a learned political personality.
I will also add the sudden climatic changes in Delhi as a reason. Also Congress didnt take any steps for such crisis situation..
The reason behind water cut is delayed rains in Mumbai.. We all prayed to Lord Indra yesterday, and finally today we are gifted with rain as a boon.. Our economy completely depends on rain as it is agricultural. If it doesnt rain properly this time, the effects of government decisions could be affected.
The reason behind rail hike was railways running in loss. Congress, to avoid wrath of the people left the decision for the next govt.. We are ok with 14.2% as Rs 10 ticket from Borivali to Churchgate becomes Rs 11.4 only. But we were enraged with pass hike of around 300%. But then that was a trick. It wasnt made applicable.. the pass rates are the same as before. The good thing that happened was the people took pass for one year.. and in 3 days the railway loss was recovered by Rs 300 crore.. smart move.
