Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has continuously been working for develpoment of India.. here is a list of the initiatives:
1.Dedicated Mouda Super Thermal Power Project Stage-I to the Nation. Providing electricity to everyone across India remains a priority for us. The aim of the Government is to harness all sources of energy, with an emphasis on clean energy.
2.Urged farmers to avail of the benefits of Jan Dhan Yojana, which would be launched on 28th August. Also talked about how Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana will benefit the farmers of the Nation.
3.Launched the National Digital Literacy Mission & dedicated other development projects to the Nation. Initiated the commencement of work at North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Plant. This plant has the potential to help solve Jharkhand's power crisis.
4.Urged DRDO to further engage with the youth & extensively involve them in defence research activities. Congrats to the scientists who received DRDO awards. The hardwork & sacrifices of our scientists has greatly benefited our nation.
Called for greater interaction between soldiers & scientists, which can facilitate several more practical innovations in defence technology. Keeping technology at the forefront, we need to further speed up our defence programme & keep pace with the world
5.In Kaithal (Haryana), laid foundation stone for 4-laning of Kaithal-Narwana-Hisar-Rajastha
6.Talked about the importance of port-led development while laying foundation stone of JNPT SEZ & widening of the Port Connectivity Road. Spoke about Sagarmala Project that seeks to enhance development journey of coastal states. Ports must become the gateways to our progress. We want to encourage shipbuilding. My message to investment in shipbuilding is- Come, Make in India!
